Sludge Pump Acquisition and Applications
The recommended package for a general contractor consists of a Mk3 pump, Two Mk 4 pumps, a power pack, a selection of feeder units, hydraulic hoses, a remote control consol and umbilical, special ramps and a mono rail as well as appropriate spares, hose trolleys and additional fittings. A 20 Ft Container is included. This will enable a contractor to handle most tank cleaning situations as well as considering sludge pit type requests. The purchase of a ‘full’ package will automatically earn a license for the region involved to protect the contractor from competition by other Marsden Pump owners. The development of the Marsden Sludge Pump and the Patent of the composite pumping system was focused on the cleaning of crude oil storage tanks. Already this has extended to the clearing or pumping out of sludge pits. For other situations and possible or unusual applications, please contact Sludge Pumping (NZ) Ltd.
